Column This ten foot high column was most successful when surrounded by people looking through the sculpture at each other. While I was busy thinking about cellulose sponges (the texture on the exterior surface) as one of the many wartime technologies brought into the home in Post War America, visitors were having fun playing peek-a-boo. My notions of aging become the next person’s recollection of Rapunzel. Watching and hearing the many interpretations of the work lead me to reconfigure these components. |
