Pictured are three Cakes, each with a different internal image: a shoulder blade, the interior crease of an elbow, and the wake of cake batter from a whisk. The images document a single rotation. Visitors are invited to mirror the actions pictured and turn the cakes. The first set of images are from Transpace in Normal, Illinois. The building is downtown and was retail space prior to becoming a gallery. The second set of images are from Springer Cultural Center in Champaign, Illinois. The building is a former house. The displays reference these histories.
