EXCHANGEdays suggests a model of behavior that is favorable to artists and the environment. At the end of school year, useful, often toxic, half used, not quite resalable, once valuable suddenly useless art materials are thrown away. Let’s exchange.
HOW IT WORKS:
Art materials deemed useless, but retaining some use value are offered for exchange.
The exchange can happen in two ways:
AN ACTUAL EXCHANGE: An actual exchange of goods takes place.
A CONCEPTUAL EXCHANGE: An item is simply taken and an exchange has taken place, the assigned value of trash is exchanged to an assigned value of art material.
